FacilityLive is an Italian high tech startup with global ambitions, based in Pavia, London and Brussels. It develops a next generation technology for the organisation, management and search of information with patents granted in 44 countries worldwide.
Founded in 2010 by Mariuccia Teroni and Gianpiero Lotito, innovators for over twenty years in the testing of digital technologies in the publishing world, FacilityLive is already adopted by leading Global and Pan-European companies and world-class system integrators.

Expert in publishing techniques and information treatment with an extensive career in pioneering digital technologies for the publishing world. She was Adjunct Professor of Multimedia Publishing laboratories at the University of Milan and author of technical books that are adopted in prestigious Italian universities and journalism schools. She is speaker at conferences and seminars on academic and business topics. Together with Gianpiero Lotito, she is the Founder of FacilityLive.
In 2014 and 2015 Mariuccia was Digital Icon of Watify – Stimulating Digital Entrepreneurship and from 2014 to 2016 she was Ambassador and Digital Icon of e-Skills for Jobs (two projects under the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs of the EU Commission).
In 2015 she received the Gold Medal of the city of Pavia for her commitment and contribution to technology innovation and she was selected as one of the four Successful Women Web Entrepreneurs by a project of the European Commission.
From 2015 to 2018 she was Sector Representative in the board of Pavia’s Industrial Association.
From 2016 to 2018 she was VP for Digital Society of ANITEC (Italian Industrial Association of Digital Companies and Board Member of DIGITALEUROPE) and from 2017 to 2018 she was also Deputy Chairman of the association.
Since 2016 she has been Member of the Advisory Board of MIBE (Master in International Business and Entrepreneurship of Pavia University).
In 2017 she is nominated Ambassador of the second phase of Watify – Boosting Technological Transformation: a new project of the EU Commission for the modernisation of Europe’s industry.
In 2018 she is Adjunct Professor at the Master in Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University of Pavia in cooperation with FacilityLive and she is appointed Member of the Board of Pavia’s Industrial Association for 2018 and 2019.
Expert technologist with an extensive career in pioneering digital technologies for the publishing world. He was Adjunct Professor of Multimedia Publishing at the University of Milan and wrote books and articles on technology for major Italian editors like Bruno Mondadori, Sperling and Gruppo Espresso. Together with Mariuccia Teroni, he is the Founder of FacilityLive.
From 2014 to 2016 Gianpiero was Ambassador of e-Skills for Jobs: a project under the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs of the European Commission.
In 2015 he received the Gold Medal of the city of Pavia for his commitment and contribution to technology innovation.
In 2016 he was the Innovative Entrepreneur that the Italian Minister for Economic Development chose to represent Italy at the European Council for Competitiveness held in Amsterdam.

He is a regular speaker at international events such as the European Business Summit, Rimini Meeting, Startup Europe Summit, Digital Venice, Pisa Internet Festival, the Single Market Forum organized by the European Commission, and at the European Parliament, European Internet Forum, London Stock Exchange and TEDx.
